The Epicenter is the hub of operations for Battle Cry Ministries. Our 10,000 square foot facility is located just north of Houston in the growing and vibrant community of Magnolia Texas. Centrally located and positioned adjacent to Magnolia High School, we are poised to impact and influence our community with the love of Christ and the power of the gospel.
The Epicenter is home to Servanthood Fellowship, the church we planted in 2007. Servanthood is a small congregation, about 100 strong, with emphasis on personal responsibility, discipleship, community and evangelistic outreach. Servanthood Fellowship is committed to growing people, rather than pursuing the modern day philosophy of growing a congregation.
On 10 acres of our heavily wooded property, we have developed a beautiful and secluded, fee free community campground smack dab in the middle of the hustle and bustle of our suburban culture. The Wilderness has been an effective means of hosting families, church groups, home school groups and camping organizations for some much needed R & R from the rat race of our high pressure society. The Wilderness is a biblically based campground and we continuously pursue angles to love and reach our community through our little patch of ground carved out in the woods.
Last, but by no means least, The Epicenter plays host to church groups from across the globe who have come to participate in our MISSION encounter strategy. The Epicenter serves as a home base for mission teams; providing meals, lodging, recreation, training and teaching. From The Epicenter, we launch into the greater Houston area to live out our faith for the purpose of living out the great commission, as well as teaching a pattern and practical plan of duplication for the group to put into practice upon returning home to their community. Our MISSION encounter strategy is all about mobilizing the church to get out of our comfortable buildings and to get into the hurting hearts of the people scattered about our communities.
